Wind Energy Tower Switches

Sikkema has provided over 800 wind energy tower switches to Gamesa and their contractors.   They are installed throughout the US at sites such as Minonk, IL, Sandy Ridge and Allegheny, Pa, producing clean energy for the grid.   The switches are 35kv with very small footprint using SF6 insulation to fit through the doorway of a wind turbine tower for mounting at the base per these pictures.ikkema provided the 15kv PSE&G MV service switchgear and transformers for this biogas waste power plant.
