Battery Energy Storage System

Sikkema worked with an EPC to to supply a battery energy storage system fed from their 2.61MW photovoltaic (solar) system.  It includes the power conversion system, lithium-ion batteries, and sophisticated automation that ensures power reliability, availability, and grid stability.  Sikkema Electric also supplied the switchgear and transformers for the system.  The project is expected to be completed by Spring 2021.
